Michael Lomas is a Co-owner/Co-founder of “The Financial Guys, LLC”, Division Manager with Peak Brokerage Services, LLC in Williamsville, New York, with branch offices in Rochester NY, Buffalo NY, Nunda NY, and Jupiter FL.

Michael is President of Independent Solutions Wealth Management LLC, an Investment Advisory firm registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission, and Co-owner and board member of the RIA that advises the Neiman Funds, LLC.

Michael is the Co-host and Co-founder of the number one ranked business talk show in Western New York, “The Financial Guys”, on News Radio 930 WBEN. The show mixes politics with money and the show is a pillar in the local talk show community. In addition to co-hosting the radio show, Mr. Lomas does various news interviews regarding the financial and political markets for local TV affiliates ABC, NBC, and CBS.

After building a large clientele at FNIC, Michael joined PaineWebber. At PaineWebber, Michael became an Investment Advisor Representative expanding his practice to include Professional Money Management programs.  Michael was also the Branch Office Wealth Preservation Specialist assisting other PaineWebber Financial Advisors with insurance and estate planning needs.

After Michael’s tenure with PaineWebber, he and his business partner Glenn Wiggle founded the Financial Guys LLC.  The Financial Guys, LLC was formed to provide a broad range of Financial Services using a team approach. The team consists of individuals with expertise in the fields of Retirement planning, Estate planning, College planning, Social Security planning, Tax planning, and more.  By developing a team each client is reassured that there will always be someone available to assist them.

Michael believes in taking a multi-step approach with his clients.  The first step is to assess the level of risk and overall objectives of each individual.  Once completed, Mike and his team can match each individual to the appropriate allocation.  The final step is the ongoing monitoring of each portfolio and the implantation of an Active Sector Allocation Program (ASAP) to rebalance the sectors that may be underweighted.

Mike is active in a number of local professional, charitable, and social organizations that include: Roswell Park Cancer Institute, Children’s Hospital & the United Way. Hobbies include auto racing, fishing, golfing, and enjoying time with his wife and two beautiful daughters Olivia and Ali.
