Wealth Manager
Anthony Szefler is a fully Licensed Financial Advisor and Certified Estate Planner with The Financial Guys LLC. He holds his Series 6, 63, 65 Securities Licenses, along with his NYS Life, Accident and Health Insurance License. Anthony focuses on offering a comprehensive approach to managing wealth that begins with getting to know a client and the client’s family, financial situation, and what matters most to them. He then helps create a customized wealth management approach that can be flexible as their needs change along with market conditions.
Experience/Career
Raised in Lancaster, New York, Anthony graduated from Lancaster High School. Upon graduation, he attended University at Buffalo, where he earned a B.S. in Financial Analysis. Anthony participated in many different organizations, including the Financial Management Association. He also spent six months living and studying in Florence, Italy. During this time, Anthony traveled to many countries across Europe, studying their unique cultures and International Business. Anthony began his career with The Financial Guys, LLC while attending college, where he worked with our investment advisory firm, Independent Solutions Wealth Management, LLC. He spent that time learning directly from our Investment Committee. Upon graduation, Anthony decided to join The Financial Guys, LLC because he saw how a local, independent firm could provide a wealth of knowledge and resources to his clients. His passion drives him to help clients pursue their goals.
Family
Anthony currently resides in Lancaster, New York. He has one older brother and one younger sister who grew up playing Ice Hockey and Lacrosse together. He enjoys cooking with his mother, golfing with his father, and spending time outdoors with his girlfriend taking the boat out in the summer, and snowboarding in the winter.
