The Medicare Open Enrollment Period will begin soon, but what does that mean for you? If you are over the age of 65 or receive Medicare benefits, you’ll want to pay attention. The Medicare Open Enrollment period runs from October 15th – December 7th. During this time, you are allowed to freely shop Medicare plans to find the right plan for you. Any changes made during this time will go into effect January 1st.
In WNY alone, there are 43 different Medicare plans to choose from. Exploring these plan options on your own could seem overwhelming, but don’t let that scare you. The Financial Guys Insurance Agency is here for you. Schedule an appointment with an AHIIP Certified advisor who will take the time to go over the plans in detail, while reviewing your specific healthcare needs to help you find the plan that’s best for you.
Don’t let complacency win. If you’ve been in the same plan for years, you might not know what benefits you’re missing out on. After a quick meeting with one of our representatives, you might find yourself moving to a plan that better suits your needs.
