About Micah T. Moore
Overview
Micah T. Moore, a former educator turned Financial Advisor, holds a Masters in Math/Science/Technology Education. Transitioning to finance in 2018, he now holds Series 6, 63, and 65 securities licenses, alongside health and life insurance licenses in multiple states. Drawing from his teaching and coaching background, Micah brings energetic insight and effective communication skills to empower clients on their financial journey. Micah partners with his father, David F. Moore, to offer holistic financial planning services.
Experience/Career
Micah is a former Science Teacher and Basketball Coach with a Master’s in Math/Science/Technology Education from Saint John Fisher College. Having worked as a part-time office assistant previously with his father, David F. Moore, Micah decided in 2018 to become a Financial Advisor. He now has earned his Series 6, 63, and 65 securities licenses, and is health and life insurance licensed in several states. Micah brings the energy, insight, creativity, good listening and communication skills he learned in Education and Coaching to our current clients. Micah teams up with his father David, who brings a wealth of financial knowledge gained over 35+ years of helping clients build a better financial future. Together, they believe in holistic planning and really getting to know their clients to help them achieve their goals. This combination of knowledge and youthful energy really gives clients the best of both worlds.
Family/Interests
Micah lives in the little town of Naples, NY with his wife Leandra and their 3 sons. Leandra is the Assistant Winemaker and Wholesale Department Head at Arbor Hill Grapery and Winery. The family can often be found at a local U-picks gathering fresh fruits, at one of the areas many corn mazes and sunflower fields, or out on a hike. Micah is also an avid golfer, fisherman and hunter.
