James Cammarata, through his company Market Line Metrics, LLC, manages taxable investment accounts for high net worth individuals, as well as their large balance Rollover, Roth and Inherited IRAs. His company has recently affiliated with Independent Solutions Wealth Management, LLC an SEC Registered Investment Advisor and a division of The Financial Guys, LLC.

Jim manages diversified portfolios of individually selected stocks and bonds, tailored to the unique requirements of each client-investor. Jim’s overall equity philosophy is to invest in quality companies with sound management, at reasonable valuations. On the fixed income side, Jim uses interest rate anticipation strategies to determine optimal positions on the yield curve for investing in the bond market.

Jim has over 40 years’ experience in the financial services industry. He received his B.A. Degree from Gannon College, attended the University of Buffalo School of Law, and earned certification from the Pension and Profit Sharing Institute of Fairleigh Dickinson University. His background and experience include: VP & Manager, Pension Trust Division, Marine Midland Bank; ERISA Compliance Manager, Corporate Finance Division, The Carborundum Company; AVP Trust Business Development, Pension & Investment Division, M&T Bank; Co-Founder of CNS Associates, Inc., Consultant to Bank Trust Departments; VP & Manager Trust Business Development, Personal and Institutional Investment Services, Fleet Norstar Trust Company; Founding Member Co-Owner, Chairman and CEO of Atlantic Capital Management, Inc., an SEC Registered Investment Advisory firm.

Jim is a member of the Estate Analysts of WNY and a member and former Director of the Financial Planning Counselors of WNY. He also served on the Board of Directors of the following organizations: the New York Employee Benefits Conference; the International Association of Financial Planning, WNY Chapter; the Buffalo Academy of the Sacred Heart; and the Landmark Society of the Niagara Frontier.
