Michael C. Shaver is a fully licensed Wealth Manager with The Financial Guys. He holds his Series 7 and 66 Securities Licenses along with his NYS Life, Accident, and Health Insurance License. Growing up, Michael played travel hockey and learned the value of teamwork, discipline, and collaboration in achieving shared goals. He takes pride in learning about the client, their family, and what their aspirations are. Experience/Career
Raised in Lancaster, NY, Michael graduated from Lancaster High School and the University at Buffalo with his Bachelor’s in Biology and his Master’s in Natural Science. Initially, Michael set his sights on a career in medicine, fueled by a passion for helping others, building long-term relationships, and education. Michael’s perspective shifted when his father joined The Financial Guys as a financial advisor, where he was inspired by their approach to empowering clients through education and personalized guidance. This ignited his desire to apply his skills and passions to the financial industry. Today, Michael is dedicated to helping clients manage their finances with confidence and uses his academic foundation to educate clients along the way.
Family/Interests
Michael recently bought a house with his girlfriend in Lancaster, NY. He has one younger brother who is in school to be a police officer. In his free time, he enjoys golfing, playing hockey, and snowboarding in the winter.
