Ron was born and raised in Western New York. He grew up an athlete, playing Football, Hockey and Baseball while attending Iroquois High School. Ron acquired a love of animals while working summers on his grandparents’ farm. After high school, Ron spent a year living in southern Georgia working in the construction industry. After spending a stifling hot summer below the Mason-Dixon line, Ron decided to move back to WNY with a newly acquired affinity for sweet tea and collard greens, Ron enrolled at Canisius College where he obtained a Bachelors Degree in Finance.

While at Canisius College, Ron received his firs exposure to the Financial Services Industry where he interned at Solomon Smith Barney Working alongside professional wealth managers, Ron saw the value of professional advice and the impact that their expertise has on individuals and families.

After graduation, Ron started his career in the financial services industry working for a local affiliate of MetLife where he specialized in personal retirement planning. This experience allowed him to gain an appreciation for comprehensive financial strategies in addition to his experience in wealth management.

In 2014 Ron was offered an opportunity to take a management position with Northwest Bank, he was in charge of Trust and Investment Services for Western New York. During his tenure with the bank, he continued to grow his repertoire, working with corporate clients, non-profits and trusts.

Constrained by recent bank mergers and wishing to provide a more personalized experience for his clients, Ron was introduced to Mike Lomas, co-founder of The Financial Guys. The team approach which they provide is more in-line with Ron’s values and skill set. Ron then joined The Financial Guys as he feels that being with an independent firm, such as, The Financial Guys offers him the best opportunity to utilize his wealth of experience to provide his clients the best, unbiased solution to meet their goals and objectives.

Ron lives in Elma where he enjoys gardening, landscaping and cars. Ron and his wife Jessica recently introduced a daughter, Emmaline Grace to the world. Ron and Jessica are also lovers of animals and are looking to add to their current stable of 2 dogs and a cat. Ron is also very active in his local community as a Town Committeeman and serves on Elma’s comprehensive planning board, setting parameters for future local development.
