The Red Roof Inn – located in Amherst, NY, has been operating as housing for illegal immigrants. The local community has become outraged by the situation and is growing more concerned about the increased activity around the hotel. Concerns have been raised regarding the facility's capacity, potential strain on local resources, and impact on public safety standards.

The Financial Guys decided to visit the site and investigate these claims. Founder, Mike Lomas went right to the source and discovered the filth and garbage scattered across the location,

“Look at the amount of garbage. What’s amazing to me is, even the town supervisor [Brian Kulpa], you’ve got Mark Poloncarz [Erie County Executive], why don’t you come out here and clean up?”

Town and County officials have declined to comment and have not returned phone calls regarding the ongoing deterioration of the situation. After visiting the site, The Financial Guys found broken-down, dilapidated property strewn with garbage alongside hotel furniture lying about outside. Here’s video evidence of what we found.
